Alan Cooper Cabinetmaker has been in business as a furnituremaker since 1985, and specialising in bedroom furniture (both fitted and freestanding) since 1996.

A wide range of styles are available, from simple cottage or rustic barn designs, to the more sophisticated, with break-fronts, reeded pilasters and serpentine panelled doors. The emphasis is on quality, attention to detail (both in design and manufacture), total flexibility of sizes due to 100% manufacture in the company's own workshop, and above all, a standard of service which is second to none.

The main material the company uses is Oak. A variety of other timbers are available, as well as M.D.F., suitable for a paint finish. It is the general policy of the company to avoid the use of chipboard

.Alan Cooper uses a unique frame design for the majority of the designs, including mortice and tenon joints and traditional brass and wrought iron hinges to ensure lifelong structural strength.

A choice of interior fitments is available, again made to requirement in the company workshop
